Winter Maintenance Tips
Winter is here, so it’s important to make sure your car is ready for potentially harsh conditions. A bit of prep and servicing may reduce the impact this time of year can have on your vehicle.
Checking the following can help you be prepared for potentially harsh winter conditions:
Brake
Brakes are one of the most critical components of your vehicle – especially in the winter months. Consider making an appointment to check their condition.
Tires
Pay close attention to your tires during the winter months by examining for remaining tread life and frequently checking the air pressure.
Windshield Wipers
Snow, slush and salt can build up on the windshield with winter storms. Be ready for changing weather by replacing old, worn out wiper blades.
Coolant
Ensuring proper coolant (sometimes called antifreeze) levels is important in helping to keep your vehicle running smoothly during the colder winter months.
