Is my car totaled?

After an accident (or flood, hail damage, etc.), your insurance provider assesses your car’s condition and value, and determines whether it’s a total loss or if it can be repaired.

Yes, insurance says my car is totaled. Now what?

Your insurance provider will give you a settlement cost for your car. In general, they will take your car’s value and subtract your deductible and fees. To get an idea of your car’s value, use our appraisal tool.

But, I need a car now. What should I do?

While you’re waiting for your settlement check, you can rent a car from us. It’s a great way to get back on the road quickly with minimal disruptions.
